>Hi everyone! This is a card made for my youngest sons 20th birthday.
I had a picture of his s-10 and adjusted the color and came up with this color combination.
Thought the ribbon and patterned paper went perfectly together. He no longer has this truck and thought this would be a great idea. He loved it so much he hung it on his frig in his apartment. Made me feel good that he liked it that much.
Stop on over to MPS blog and check out all the great birthday projects.
Have a great day everyone!
Until next time,
>Hi again everyone! received Mary’s email on her valentine card this morning and new I had to try this layout ASAP. Thanks Mary for all your great inspirational tutorials and projects. I used non traditional valentine colors and have to tell you the inspiration, besides Mary’s card, was this black and white trim I found at Hobby Lobby. It kind of reminds me of the bakers twine except it is silkier. When I cut the ends it wanted to unravel so I got my glossy accents out and dabbed a drop of that on the ends and that worked perfectly. You can see the trim in the picture below, along with the other items I used to make this card.
This was a fun card to make. Better go for now. Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.
>It’s a wintery snowy day here in central Illinois and a perfect day to stay in and work on some projects I have been wanting to get done. Thought I would share my valentine card creations.
This card is inspired by Robyn at My Pink Stamper
These cards are inspired by Ruthie. I used the layout but changed the octopus out with hearts and “love” letters. The love letters is a block stamp which I embossed with red tinsel embossing powder then cut the letters out and popped them out with pop dots. The red hearts are cut from the Doodlecharms cartridge. All of the patterned paper is K&Co valentine stack.
Thanks so much for looking.
> Hi folks, wanted to share my card for madebymomo card challenge blog. This is the first time I have entered a card in her challenge. If you want to check it out go here.
>HI friends, I am entering this card for the CPS card sketch this week. I was having a heck of a time getting a half way decent picture. Everyone I took showed the card as having a yellow background. It’s actually a brighter green than the picture shows. The flower is made from the same border sticker that’s at the bottom of the card. I cut the scalloped border into five pieces and arranged them on a piece of CS and cut it out then just used black CS for the center using a 1″ circle punch and adding a jumbo brad. The sticker borders and brad are Making Memories. I luv the colors in this card. I also used CTMH glitter glue on the scallop and flower but it’s hard to see in the picture. I am wishing now that I used some gems instead of the glitter glue. Oh well live and learn. I have been enjoying looking at all the wonderful creations. I said it before but it’s just amazes me what beautiful cards you ladies come up with.
Have a great day!
Until Next Time,
